The majority of our class seems to be majoring in some form of education or another. Secondary Education is the most popular major among our class. This is not to say that all students are Secondary Ed. majors or that all students have declared a major. The students who are majoring in Secondary Ed. also tend to have a dual major or a minor of a specific subject. The other majors not having to do with education that students have decided include: communication disorders, Spanish/Italian, mechanical engineering, political science, psych, and nutrition. Most of our class consists of freshman students. Sixteen out of nineteen students are first year college students and the other three are either second year students at URI or transfer students. To categorize the majority of the class into one group, most are first year freshman and Secondary Education majors.
